About Me
IMG_463202809 Hi! I’m Alex. I live in St. Louis Park, MN (the best place on earth), and I’m a counselor in a high school. In my free-time I like to explore the Twin Cities, learn things, make things (drawings, jewelry, crafts, food), read, watch movies, sing (show-tunes and old-time folk songs), and dance (Irish, Belly Dancing, etc.). Also, I have a cat, named Jane.

If you would like to contact me, feel free to email me at asmoen@gmail.com.

  1. Hi wild blue,
I found you via Pearl and I like your blog. It feels comfy cozy to this INFJ who is a therapist and LSW. I also like artichokes and artichoke dip, yum 🙂

  2. Hi. I watched you singing ‘Oak and Ash and Thorn’ on your youtube channel and it was purely amazing! Thanks for that!
Wish you a lovely day and a clear blue sky above you.

    1. It depends! It’s not hard for me, but some people might think it’s hard. You have to isolate different parts of your body (like hip hop dancing), and some people find that easier than others. For males, it would be a bit harder, and it’s not really traditionally meant for males. But the classes I’ve taken were progressive in difficulty, so I thought it was just really fun!

      1. Oh, yes, the professor wouldn’t try it! I think it’s definitely a female thing. But I’ve always wondered. I thought it looks like it would be difficult. It’s cool nonetheless. I was in a Moroccan restaurant once…and I saw some of that dancing.
